隔水加熱慢燉法

將乾燥的燕窩浸泡在飲用水中3-4小時後,倒掉浸泡過的水,稍加沖洗數次即可*。

*珍燕窩使用人工清除羽毛,過程絕不使用漂白劑或其他化學藥劑,倘浸泡後仍有細毛浮出,屬正常現象,僅需沖洗乾淨,即可安心食用。

Soak dry bird’s nest in the water for 3-4 hours, then drain the water. For best results, use drinking water. After the bird's nest is soaked and expands, drain the water and rinse it 2-3 times. 

ZHEN bird's nest are considered very clean, however, it is possible that there are some small feathers left, that's because we do not use any bleaching agent. Therefore if there are some feathers are found, pick it out or rinse the water to clean it.

燉煮時需要一個小燉盅和一個較大的外鍋,建議可用陶瓷或不鏽鋼鍋。

Prepare an inner and an outer pot (pottery or stainless).

將泡好乾淨的燕窩放入小燉盅,加熱水,可依個人喜好加入冰糖、人參、白果、枸杞或紅棗等一起煮食調味。 盅內放入滾水約七成滿,放入燕窩或其他材料,燕窩在加熱過程中還會膨脹。

Put the expanded bird’s nest into the inner pot, add hot water and other ingredients like rock sugar, ginseng, as preferred. Height of water in inner pot should not be higher than 7/10 of the pot because bird’s nest will expand even more while cooking.

將燉盅放入加水的外鍋,記得底部要加墊蒸架,避免底部直接碰觸。外鍋水位過半即可。

Put the smaller pot inside larger pot, outer pot. We recommend the use of a wire steaming stand so that the two pots do not contact each other at the bottom. Add hot water into outer pot, about ½ of inner pot height.

用小火慢燉 約 20-25分鐘至燕窩呈現柔軟透明狀或至個人偏好濃稠度即可。 

Cook with low flame for 20-25 mins.

Follow the same soaking instructions in step 1 of double boil method.

將浸泡過的燕窩放在鍋或燉盅內,加熱水,可依個人喜好加入冰糖、人參、白果、枸杞或紅棗等一起煮食調味。

Put the soaked bird’s nest into a pot and add hot water. Also add ingredients like rock sugar, ginseng, ginkgo nuts, red dates, dry Longgans, as preferred.

水燒開後轉為最小火,慢燉約10-15分鐘,煮好的燕窩呈現柔軟透明的外觀,並可依個人偏好濃稠程度於燉煮過程中添加稍許滾水。

After water boils, cook with low flame for 10-15 mins.

建議最佳食用方式為每天早上一碗 (份量約2-3g左右)。例如每天食用量為2-3g, 一個月約需60-90g 燕窩。
水量比例 : 
清爽口味 - 1g燕窩 + 100ml水 
濃郁口味 - 1g燕窩 + 80-90ml水
燕窩會有蛋的清香味, 煮過後入口滑順
煮好的燕窩需放置於冰箱內冷藏,約可保存7-10天

For best results, we recommend to consume bird’s nest in the morning. The recommend serving size is 2-3 grams (dry weight). This is equal to 60-90 grams per month.

Proportion 
Light texture: 1g Zhen Bird’s Nest per 100ml of water
Thick texture : 1g Zhen Bird’s Nest per 80-90 ml of water

Genuine bird’s nest has egg-like smell, and bird’s nest after cooked should be transparent and silky soft.

Cooked bird’s nest can be stored in the refrigerator for 7-10 days
